Use Case: Internationale Zuliefererbörse (IZB)

This year, IZB, the leading European trade fair for the automotive supplier industry, relied on the Mobile Event App as its digital companion. The exhibition, which takes place every two years, focuses on the latest trends and technologies for products, manufacturing and processes within the industry. With more than 820 exhibitors from over 30 countries, the IZB 2018 attracted more than 50,000 visitors to Wolfsburg.

The MEA was the first point of contact for visitors of the fair, as information on all exhibitors were collected in the app, users could filter by product groups or find their way on the provided maps – print material was no longer mandatory.

The integrated gateway provided a reliable synchronisation process between the IZB website and the Mobile Event App, which ensured that exhibitor details only had to be changed at one point at a time and integrated seamlessly into the end product. By activating guest access, it was possible to avoid creating an account and maintaining profile data: Every participant of the trade fair had access to the content offered by Wolfsburg AG.

The MEA also served as an information channel by publishing news and sending push messages intensively before, during and after the event. The Mobile Event App thus also contributed to the digital encounter with the trade fair and exhibitors. A final survey completed the modular package of plazz AG.
