With the new innovations in registr, we are going one step further to make your event management more effective and the use of registr more convenient. With the latest updates 2.81 and 2.82, some important new features have been added, which we present to you in this blog post.<\/p>\n

E-mail placeholder for personalized salutations<\/h3>\n

registr introduces new email placeholders for event invitations. Depending on the salutation of the participants, automatic, formal or personal salutations<\/strong> are now generated, such as “Dear” or ” Hello”. This function enables more individual and appealing communication<\/strong> with participants, which can lead to increased awareness and appreciation of the invitation.<\/p>\n

Easier event participation with registr 2.81<\/h3>\n

New in registr 2.81 is the option to deactivate the account requirement for app use. Participants can now take part in events without an account<\/strong>, whereby their participation information, consent to terms of use and data protection conditions and answers to questionnaires are recorded each time they visit the event portal. Once registered, guests will receive an email with event access and an unsubscribe link. The option to participate without an account makes event participation more accessible and low-threshold<\/strong>, which can lead to a higher number of participants.<\/p>\n

Improved organizational function<\/h3>\n

Organizers benefit from new invitation settings, can set expiration dates and edit participant data retrospectively. The guest list in the CMS now offers extended filter and editing options<\/strong>. Advanced settings and filter options simplify event management, save time<\/strong> and enable more precise participant management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

registr now offers the option to add companions to events. Organizers can set the maximum number of companions per guest<\/strong>, requiring the first and last name and email address of the companions. This feature prevents invitations from being redeemed by unauthorized persons. It enables invitations to be securely<\/strong> assigned to specific accounts to avoid confusion and duplicate entries. This feature increases security and accuracy in participant management by ensuring that invitations are only redeemed by the intended persons.<\/p>\n

Flexible questionnaire options and e-mail preview<\/h3>\n

registr now offers the possibility to make questionnaires visible only to certain groups<\/strong>, including the option to restrict them to accompanying persons. A new email preview shows a summary of all event-specific information<\/strong> before sending. The ability to restrict questionnaires to specific groups allows for targeted data collection<\/strong>. The email preview provides a final check to avoid errors in communication<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Integration of iOS Wallet<\/h3>\n

With the latest registr update, we are significantly increasing convenience for iOS users by integrating QR codes, e.g. for tickets, directly into the iOS Wallet. From now on, participants can seamlessly transfer their event tickets to their digital wallet. The configuration of the wallet pass, including the customisation of logos and icons in various sizes, is possible directly in the registr CMS.<\/p>\n

So how does the participant get their iOS Wallet pass? It’s simple: when sending invitations via the registr CMS, a special placeholder is now inserted for the download link of the Wallet Pass. Upon receiving the invitation by email, participants can download the pass and import it directly into their iOS Wallet.<\/p>\n

The best part is the automatic customisation of the Wallet pass. Based on the database stored in the CMS, each pass is customised so that participants have all the relevant information immediately to hand. This feature not only brings a personal touch to the invitation process, but also ensures a smooth attendee experience.<\/p>\n
